Great food. Generous portions. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Neighborhood atmosphere.

Hubby and I went in this morning and it was so good. I had the Salmon Benedict and it had a great smokey taste. Hubby had the breakfast quesadilla and it was also yummy. Eggs were light and fluffy. The roasted potatoes were crispy. Service was great. So attentive and the girls working were friendly and cheerful. It will be nice to have a good breakfast spot so close to home.

This was my second time here. First time, it was pretty busy on a Friday with lots of big parties from the surrounding schools. It was most likely the teachers. I decided to regroup and come back the next week. It's a small place but packs quite a punch. People are very nice here. I went with the stuffed French toast and added a side of bacon. They don't skimp on the bacon like some places. You get four slices. The coffee was nice and strong which is what you want with a nice breakfast. The French toast was delicious. It didn't need syrup obviously as it was sweet enough. The server did recommend some other menu items to try when I visit next time....which I definitely will.

These people know how to make breakfast, I know it has to be a mom and pop place. Because the care that they give to each little detail and flavor is beyond your expectations, and honestly, the prices are great compared to other places you need to give this a try even if you're just passing by. Tell them Sandy sent you. I am looking forward to taking my family to try this place is like 15 minutes away from me, but not a big deal well worth it. I won't be surprised if this place needs to expand or create another location closer to. Green House and I 10.. Some breakfast places are, but not as good as Early Riser Cafe. Sorry, I don't have any pics, because the food was so good. I ate it all.

The service was very good, the employees were so kind and it was a nice atmosphere. The french toast was to die for!!

I found Early Riser Cafe after a very brief search of breakfast spots in Katy. After watching a cold soccer game, I wanted a great country style breakfast that was heavy on comfort. This place met my desires offering meals with mini pancakes as an option other than toast. I absolutely loved this offering since I wanted pancakes but wasn't ready to take on the huge size of a regular order. I had scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, and sausage with my mini cakes. The meal was served hot from the griddle straight to the table with no waiting. If you're there with a group, ask for permission to start the meal before them since all of the food doesn't arrive at the same time. There was a lean staff that covered the room without anyone feeling neglected. The restaurant is small so high traffic may create a wait but do because it's well worth it.

Hello my fellow Yelpers. So the wife and I decided to go out for breakfast and we decided to check this place out and boy am glad we did! We started out with a couple of O.J.'s which were very good. They tasted freshly squeezed but I cannot confirm that. Wife ordered the classic eggs Benedict and I went with the Salmon. Eggs were nicely poached on both dishes, my dish tasted like a good ole bagels and lox's but, whatever that green sauce was on there elevated this dish to another level. It was great! The hash browns were good and needed...to sop up some of the delicious running yoke lol. Atmosphere was good (well it was only me the wife and someone waiting for a to go order lol), staff was super friendly. So let's go through the checklist: Good Food? Check Good Service? Check Good Atmosphere? Check Will we be back? Heck Yes and Check Not sure about the rest of the menu as this was our first time but these folks sure know how to poach eggs! We always try to seek out family run/independent restaurants when we are traveling so on Father's Day we drove past IHOPs, First Watches and fast food breakfast options to seek out Early Riser's Cafe. A cute little place located in an unassuming strip mall, we were the only ones there when we arrived at a little after seven am. A young lady promptly came over to take our drink order. She brought our drinks and took our breakfast order with a smile. She continued to check on us regularly even after other customers came. DD ordered stuffed French toast which she declared "fantastic". Grandson and I had omelettes which were perfectly prepared. I especially loved the crispy roasted potatoes. The pancakes were delicious too. Coffee was first rate and so was the service.

I found The Early Riser Cafe on instagram. They are located in Katy on N.Fry Rd past West Little York. Augustine was my server and made sure I was well taken care of. I ordered Eggs my way which was over easy eggs, hash browns and nice crispy bacon. I also had coffee and orange juice. The food was prepared very much to my liking, very tasty. I throughly enjoy the meal and service and will definitely come again.
